To provide support in quality assuring the information in the B-BBEE Certificate portal and liaising with the verification professionals and SANAS.
Job description

1. Render support in monitoring and evaluating legislative compliance.
  • Conduct research and submit recommendations for the adoption of a compliance monitoring and evaluation system and tools. 
  • Issue acknowledgement letters to entities that reported to the Commission in line with section 13G of the B-BBEE Act.
  • Conduct analysis and assessment of B-BBEE compliance reports. 
2. Conduct verification inspections on practitioners.
  • Maintain and update the database of verification practitioners. 
  • Participate during technical assessment of verification agencies. 
  • Quality assure B-BBEE Certificates and reports uploaded on the portal. 
  • Conduct training to verification practitioners on the use of portal. 
3. Implement corrective measures against verification practitioners.
  • Identify non-compliant verification practitioners. 
  • Propose penalties to be imposed on verification practitioners. 
  • Provide support in the institution of legal action. 
4. Provide quarterly reports on trends.
  • Compile quarterly reports on the number of verification practitioners. 
  • Compile quarterly reports on non-compliant verification practitioners. 
  • Compile quarterly reports on actions taken against non-compliant verification practitioners. 
  • Compile reports on challenges and possible upgrade to be implemented on the B-BBEE Certificate Portal.

Minimum requirements

Qualification Requirements
  • Degree/National Diploma in Public Administration / Business Administration / Economic Science / Law.
Experience / Skills Required
  • 3 years’ relevant experience in inspections/investigations/ compliance monitoring 
  • Knowledge of PFMA, B-BBEE Act. 
  • Knowledge of King IV Report on Corporate Governance
